I was out shoveling the driveway (again!) today because of the 5 or 6 inches of snow we got overnight. The kids (who had a snow day today) all came out with me, then dropped off one by one ... back into the house. Too cold. Too tired. Too hungry.
Except for Honey. My always loyal dog. She stayed with me until I made her go in too because she had snowballs in between her toes. That can't be comfortable.
I got this picture of her before she went in though. She's so pretty. I know I'm biased. :)

Beautiful shot! I have a golden too and I would recommend them to anyone. Mine is a little darker in colour and I suspect a bit older than yours as she's started to go white in the face (she's eight). :(
