Week 9 Summary

Wow!  Nine weeks in and still going strong!  Woo hoo!

We had a fun week ... warmer weather and some much-needed sunshine got us outside a few days.  Plus I'm feeling much better after finishing up my meds for bronchitis.  I actually got out and ran on Wednesday and Friday.  It felt good!  It is chilly and raining today, which makes a great day for staying indoors and reading.  Then this evening Doug and I are going to watch a movie together - something we haven't done in a while.

Anyway, here's the rundown for this week:

27 - While I was photographing Spiderman with the unusually large head, Alex decided to sneak up and "take him out" with Honey's tennis ball.  He didn't know I was getting him in the picture too.  Sometimes I'm sneaky like that.  :)

28 - A squirrel in our back yard that was eating the bird seed that had fallen from our feeder. Looks like he stopped and posed for his photo.  

1 - Bought a bouquet of flowers to brighten things up.  The sun helped and allowed me to play with some sun flare.

2 - Woke up way earlier than I would have liked, but in doing so, I was blessed with this crescent moon hanging in the eastern sky at sunrise.

3 - Alex and I went for a walk on our local community trail to see how muddy it was.  Along the way I took lots of pictures of nature.

4 - Stopped at the reservoir because Alex wanted to see if the geese were there.

5 - Alex was excited to wear his rain boots this morning.

I noticed that I'm one of the few (only?) people who has their photo week run from Sunday to Saturday.  (I'm a little anal like that).  Which means I have to take my last photo early in the day.  Once indoor soccer season is over in a couple weeks, I'll have to be creative in how to capture something because I won't have to be up early.  :)  But hopefully by then we'll have some flowers blooming!
