ISO 200, f/5.6, 1/50s, D3100 w/18-55mm lens
In keeping up with my personal challenge of photographing each of my 3 kids on the anniversary of their birthdays, I present Alex (birthday December 5). I wasn't sure I was going to be able to fulfill my promise because every time I asked Alex to let me take his picture throughout the day today, I was met with a resounding NOOOOOOOOOOOO! Followed by him turning his back and/or running the other way. Finally tonight after supper, I asked him again and he said yes! Of course, I took about 30 pictures before I got one where he wasn't sticking his tongue out or making a goofy face. :)

The 5th was the birthday of ds #5. He's 17 now. Waaahhh!!!!

Your patience paid off... this is a great shot! He sounds a lot like my two in regards to pictures. It's so much easier to capture nature!! =P
