I took Alex and Jordan to the Purple Park to play for a while after preschool today.  Right after we arrived, this Blue Jay flew into the tree right by where I was standing.  It wasn't easy to get a picture of him because he kept bouncing around, but I managed to get this one right before he flew away.

These are the impulse buy boots (that's Honey's ear in the corner - she has bad timing sometimes).  He has barely taken them off since we got them on Monday.  He wears them everywhere!  It is so cute!

This is a total screw-up picture.  I was playing around with the settings on my camera.  It was taken at 1/60; F7.1; ISO 400 in the bright afternoon sun.  When I uploaded it, instead of automatically deleting it, I decided to adjust the contrast and this is what I ended up with.  Weird but cool.

After a beautiful day spent with family celebrating Easter and Nick's upcoming birthday, a storm was brewing, but a gorgeous sunset managed to squeeze itself in before the rain came.   No color adjustments were done!  (Please ignore the phone/electric lines running thru the middle.  Ugh!)

We went on an outing to McConnells Mills with Laura & kids and her friend, Danielle. 

I liked how the branches up close were in focus and the rest was blurred.  I took another picture and it turned out the opposite.
