As of July 1 I began posting my daily photos over at my main blog, A Fresh Perspective.
I found the need to eliminate one blog, and since this one came second, this is the one.
I hope you will choose to join me over at A Fresh Perspective for daily photos, photo challenges,
and some other fun stuff thrown in.

February 28

This is one of the roses my Love bought me yesterday ... for no good reason other than he wanted to.  Love him!

February 27

I can't believe this is our first snow angel of the season ... especially with all the snow we've gotten this winter!    This is Nick's creation.    He had to try several times because every time he got up, Honey ran through his angel.  :)

February 26

Honey found this big stick (more like a branch!) and carried it around for a while outside in the snow.

February 25

I'm cheating on this one because Keira actually took this pic with my little pocket camera.  I have no idea why Nick is making a pouty face ... except just to be goofy.

February 24

Nick sharing his lollipop (the stick anyway) with Honey.  Hey, at least he's sharing!

February 23

Alex thought it would be fun to ride on Daddy's back while Daddy was petting Honey.

February 22

I know this is a horrible picture, but it is the only one I have today.  It was such a yucky day, I didn't feel inspired to take any pics.

February 21

LOVE those eyes!

February 20

Okay, don't get grossed out.  I bought Honey a soup bone while at the Farmer's Market today.  They have smoked ones, but she doesn't care for them as much, so I got her this raw one.  She spent the better part of today outside knawing on it.  She thinks I'm going to take it from her, hence the look of concern on her face.

February 19

Playing around again.  Thought I'd take some pics of the icicles hanging off the front of our house before they all melt.   Not the greatest because they are taken through my big picture window.  Can you see the couple water droplets in mid-air?  Cool!  I meant to do that!  :)

February 18

Just playing around with the different settings on my camera today.
This is one of the knobs Doug put on my drawer in my scrapbook room.

February 17

Five minutes earlier he was pitching a fit because he didn't want to take a nap.  So I let him lay on me on my bed and he fell right to sleep.   Funny how he thinks he doesn't need to nap anymore.  :)

February 16

While outside this morning helping to shovel/sweep snow (again!), I noticed how eerie the sun looked behind the clouds and our ugly old walnut tree.

February 15

Happy President's Day from Nicholas! I mean, Abe Lincoln! :)

February 14

Honey just loves the snow. Too much sometimes, I think. I will post pictures of her sometime with all her little snowballs stuck to her belly ... from spending too much time out in the deep snow.

February 13

Jordan was having a blast sledding down her hill today. She was even more excited to have other kids to sled with! Until she crashed and lost her hat and got a face full of snow. Then she was done.

February 12

The view down our driveway after shoveling (yes, shoveling!) out 2 feet of snow! Doug did most of the work. I helped. A little. :)

February 11

Doug had to stop and pick up a few things on his way home from work tonight. When he brought the few groceries in he also had this bouquet of flowers. I asked him what the occasion was - forgetting V day is on Sunday. He said he bought them today because he wasn't paying 3 times as much for them on Sunday! He's quite the Frugal Romantic.
:-)
PS - I need to learn how to take a good picture of a bouquet of flowers!

February 10

More snow! No school (again!).
And my sweet girl stopped playing long enough to allow me to take her picture.
I'm so glad she's feeling good.

February 9

I pinned a Flylady mop refill to Alex's foot so he could skate around on the new wood floor. He had a blast and was a lot of fun to watch! And he didn't even realize he was "cleaning". :)

February 8

It was quite frosty this morning. I loved how pretty (but cold!) the trees looked!

February 7

I know there are probably many things wrong with this photo, but I love it because about 2 minutes before I took this one, Alex was yelling at me NOT to take his picture. This is why I have nicknamed him the Fickle Pickle. :)

February 6

One lonely leaf in the midst of all this snow.

February 5

Alex didn't take part in the full-body tattooing (he was napping), but he insisted that I take his picture also.
Silly, silly boy!

February 4

She's feeling better! Can you tell?
She's showing me her artwork from school.
She made the vase using her profile.
Cool, huh?

February 3

I made shrimp scampi pasta for supper tonight. YUM! Keira and I were the only ones who would eat it so I have leftovers for another night. The boys ate cold shrimp and pasta on the side with sprinkle cheese. We also had steamed broccoli but I had already eaten mine before I took this picture.
(The boys thought I was very silly for photographing my food.)

February 2

My friend, Gina (left), getting a manicure at our PALMS Spa Day.
This is the woman who will be doing my pedicure ... hopefully soon!

February 1

I know I posted a pic the other day of my new floor, but that was before it was done (in my room anyway) and before we decided to rip up some of the carpet in the living room and continue the flooring out into the front part of the LR. Still lots of work to do, but I love seeing progress!
