Keira took this picture of me on my little pocket camera.  Alex and I went to the school for the kids' Halloween party.  Alex wore a puppy face/ears and I wore cat ears.  I joked that it was appropriate because some days we fight like cats and dogs.  :)  Anyway, Alex decided he didn't want to wear the puppy ears/face, so I put it on and called myself a cat-dog.

Keira and Nick had their school Halloween parties today so Alex and I went up to visit for a while.  Nick was dressed as a SWAT Cop (along with about 8 other boys in the school - although his was the only "home made" costume) and Keira was a pajama party girl.  In this picture, Keira is waiting her turn for snack and Alex is finishing up a cookie he got from Nick's class party.

But we had 6 turkeys in our back yard this morning.  They were pretty far away and I zoomed in a much as I could.  I really need a stronger zoom lens.

It rained almost all day today and I didn't take any pictures, so this one is from a few days ago.  This little boy drove me nuts today.  I'm really beginning to dislike the four-year-old stage.  It's a good thing he'll be 5 soon!  :)

Nick, my SWAT COP.  He had a Halloween party to attend tonight, so we finished up his costume today.  He looks pretty good, if you ask me.  :)

Keira ran in her first cross country race this morning.  The race numbers must have been donated because the hospital had nothing to do with this race ... and it wasn't the 33rd Butler Road Race.  :)

We had a family photo shoot yesterday with the grandparents and all the grandkids.  I took my camera along so I could play while my 3 kids were dressed nice.  Here's a shot I got of Keira in between poses with the professionals.

I was watching Nick get on the bus yesterday morning when I saw something red out of the corner of my eye.  To my surprise, one of our gladiolus flowers was blooming.  Better late than never, I suppose.

I picked up a green wig and a purple wig at Target today.  Keira wanted the purple one for her outfit to wear to her school's Halloween party; Alex just wanted a wig to wear.  They only cost $2.50 so they're not spectacular, but isn't he adorable with it on?  :)

We were out on the porch this afternoon enjoying this beautiful weather, carving the newest pumpkins that I paid way too much money for (don't ask!).  Nick took this of Alex and me on my little pocket camera.

A rare event ... getting all 3 kids to be still long enough to have their picture taken.  

Not sure what's going on with Nick.  :)  

We went to a local pumpkin patch and took a horse-drawn hay ride (w/out the hay).  It was wonderful not having to be bundled up and covered with a blanket like last year.  Then we brought home 3 more pumpkins and a few gourds.  I just love fall.

I skipped a few days ... between being sick and the fact that it has been raining since Sunday ... I just didn't feel like taking pictures.  But ... the sun was shining today so Alex and I spent some time outdoors playing.  Check out this cool picture I took of the sun through the trees.  The only adjustment I did was auto contrast.  So it is basically SOOC!  Cooh, huh?
