I woke up at 6:45 this morning and tried to ignore the fact that I had to pee really bad. :) Alas, I got up to go, and this was the view out my window. I know it is a little blurry but I was half asleep. I'm not sure if it was an official full moon, but it sure was bright.

My new floor!!!!!!!

Doug started it yesterday and pretty much finished it today.

The room is uneven (go figure!) so he's off about 1.75 inches in one corner, so he will need to piece that.

I kept baby Christiana today while Terri took Alex and Jordan to Preschool and then did a little shopping. I just love watching babies sleep.

We're back home today, so Nick gave me his best ham face ... gladly.

I came home from the hospital to shower and grab a few things for myself and Keira.

Miraculously I remembered about my goal, so I snapped a few quick pics while home.

Some days Alex is quite the ham for the camera.

Some days not so much. Today I was lucky. :)

He loves me! Doug came in from playing with the boys outside when I asked him if he could take my car and just spray it off since the temp was about 40 degrees today. (It was filthy!!!) He said he would just do it here. But he actually washed it! This pic was taken out of one of the windows in my future craft room, which I finished painting this morning/afternoon. Yeah!

January 22

Honey is back home tonight after spending last night at the vet's. She was on IV fluids to try to get things moving, but she still hasn't had a BM. I walked her around outside 3 times since we got home and nothing. So I guess we'll just try again tomorrow.

She ate at the vet' office (canned food) today, so if she won't eat her dry food here tomorrow, I'll have to go pick up some canned. She also drank some melted snow outside but she won't drink from her bowl inside. Weird.

January 21

Keira stayed home from school today with the pukies (or plukies as Alex calls them). She pretty much slept all day on the couch. Poor thing! I hate it when there's nothing I can do to make my kids feel better when they are sick.

January 20

Our baby is not feeling well.

She hasn't been herself for the past couple days.

She probably ate something she shouldn't have.

I will be taking her to the vet tomorrow if they can see her. :(

The school had a fundraising night at Chuck E. Cheese tonight.

For my photography class - a photo taken using the "moving subjects" setting on my camera. It is supposed to freeze the action, but this is still blurry.

Although I love the look on Alex's face! Fun with Daddy!

I am supposed to take a landscape picture for my photography class. It is hard to take a nice landscape picture when everything looks dead and is covered in snow! Ugh!

This is the view out my dining room window. [No, I didn't go outside to take the pic. :)] The barn belongs to my neighbor.

Actually, I don't think it is a bad picture. You can see depth in it at least.

January 11

Doug had today off, so we went shopping for flooring and went to lunch ~ just us. While at Sam's Club, there was a big display of roses on sale for under $6.00, so Doug told me to go ahead a pick a bunch.

For my BPS photography class, we are supposed to take pictures using the different settings on our camera. This one was taken in macro (close up) mode. Then I used the focal b&w effect in Picasa.

Alex wasn't holding on to the handles on the tube while Daddy was pulling him up the hill and he fell off. And he was none too happy. Look at that face!

Nicholas says he is "exterminating". What? I don't know. I think he's been watching The Ant Bully movie too much. :)

Yeah, I know. It is only January 7 and I already missed a day (Jan. 6). Oh well.



It is about 20 degrees outside and snowing and Keira and Nick are eating ice cubes!!!

January 5

Daddy has this rope tied to the snow tube so he can pull the kids around. Honey thinks it is for her to play tug with. I tried to get her to pull Alex up the hill so we could slide down ... didn't quite make it, but she had fun trying.

January 4

Honey wanted so badly to go outside and play in the snow. But it was snowing heavily and cooooold. Definitely not Mom's kind of weather. :) Maybe the kids or Daddy will take her out later.

It is about 17 degrees outside with a wind chill in the single digits. C-C-C-COLD! And yet there she is ... the winter watch dog.

Alex tests my patience daily. I ask him to pose for a picture. He says he doesn't want me to take his picture. When I say, "Okay, I'll take Keira's picture instead," he throws a fit and begs me to take his. UGH! I say this often ... it is a good thing he's so darn cute because he makes me crazy!
