As of July 1 I began posting my daily photos over at my main blog, A Fresh Perspective.
I found the need to eliminate one blog, and since this one came second, this is the one.
I hope you will choose to join me over at A Fresh Perspective for daily photos, photo challenges,
and some other fun stuff thrown in.

ISO 100, f/11, 1/125s, D3100 w/55-200mm lens - using tripod and self-timer
I realize this isn't a fabulous photo of the moon, since I've seen better, but this is the best one I have taken so far.  I followed the advice from this website.  I really had to crop a lot away since my zoom only goes to 200.  I'm saving up for a stronger zoom and growing more impatient.  :)

Thanks for the link to that site. I've wanted to do a moon shot and with the full moon approaching, your timing is perfect.

nicely done, I recently purchased a 28 - 300mm and really like it. The lens is within the range I find I shoot the most photographs.
