As of July 1 I began posting my daily photos over at my main blog, A Fresh Perspective.
I found the need to eliminate one blog, and since this one came second, this is the one.
I hope you will choose to join me over at A Fresh Perspective for daily photos, photo challenges,
and some other fun stuff thrown in.

Nick caught this butterfly this afternoon.  He was so excited and asked me to take a picture of it.  It is an Eastern Tiger Swallowtail male.  We kept him for 5 minutes or so in our butterfly house so we could observe him and then set him free.

On a somewhat unrelated note ... we took the kids fishing this evening at a different lake than normal.  I brought my camera all excited to have a different atmosphere to photograph only to discover that I left my battery at home in the charger.  And wouldn't you know it, there were several cool things I could have taken pictures of.  I really must buy another battery.  :)

So incredibly sharp! Nice job!

Yes, a 2nd battery is nice. As soon as my battery loses its juice, I set it in the charger and pop the 2nd one in my camera...I always have a 2nd one ready now.

Cool capture. Literally...since Nick actually caught it. ;)

I love the background color with this shot. Great choice as it really sets off the butterfly...which is beautiful! Very nice capture. And, been there, done that with the battery! Now I have two.
